Agent Procedures appear stuck / not running on a newly installed Agent

I deployed a new agent using a package with settings copied from a template account. The Template has a number of Agent Procedures scheduled, which appear in the "Pending Procedures" tab. Some of them did not run on the new account and remain Pending for a long time. Why is this happening?



After further investigation it was found that: -

1) the Procedures were scheduled to run once, with "skip if offline" selected
2) the agent had gone offline shortly after being installed (confirmed by looking at the "agent log")
3) the Procedure log reported "KServer cancelled the Procedure <procedure name> because < ID> was offline"


If you are running procedures only once on new agents, deselect "skip if offline" when scheduling them on the template account to ensure they will run.
