Backup fails with the following error in the Backup Logs :-
Backup failed unexpectedly
And the Agent Procedure logs (located on the 'Agent > Agent Logs' page) shows the following error :-
FAILED in processing THEN step 2, Execute Agent DLL Function, with error Spawn Failed, DLL = C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaseya\LNGSYS14996498929620\ExtDlls\Driver.dll, Arguments = --executeTask UnmountVolumes --commandCatalogPath "c:\kworking\KBU\Acronis Command Catalog.json" --messageTypeCatalogPath "c:\kworking\KBU\Acronis Message Type Catalog.json" --BackupRunPath="C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaseya\LNGSYS14996498929620\Backup" --volumes=all --log="c:\kworking\unplugLog.xml" --agentTempPath="c:\kworking" (Line 3)
- This error means the Driver.dll file under the agent install directory [ in this case C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaseya\LNGSYS14996498929620\ ] is either missing or corrupt.
- It can also be a permission issue - and that the credentials set on the 'Agent > Set Credential' page do not have sufficient privileges to run the file.
- Rename the Driver.dll file under this directory to Driver.OLD.dll, and replace the file with one from another agent with the same Operating System. Once replaced, run another backup.
- Ensure that the agent credentials for this agent are local admin credentials, that are also part of the backup operators group.
