Image Manager Consolidate Error: Cannot consolidate - Chunk too Long.

Problem:

StorageCraft Image Manager fails to consolidate an image with the following error:

Cannot consolidate \path\to\vol.spi: Chunk too Long.

Cause:

This error indicates that consolidation cannot run as a critical component of the file is corrupt or missing and Image Manager is not able to parse the image contents. You can look on the source side to see if the example-vol.spi is still available. If retention has already removed this file on the source then you could attempt to solve the issue by copying the source files to the destination if the collapse files match on source and destination.

Resolution:

The following StorageCraft KB provides the steps to resolve this issue as well as additional information on why this issue occurs: https://www.storagecraft.com/support/kb/article/283
