ConnectBooster: How to void a transaction

 

Step 1: Locate the Transaction in ConnectBooster

  1. Log in to ConnectBooster.

  2. Navigate to Transaction History.

  3. Find the transaction you want to void.

  4. Copy the Transaction ID.

You will need this ID to complete the void in the gateway.


Step 2: Log in to the BNG Gateway

  1. Open the BNG Gateway portal.

  2. Locate the transaction search field.


Step 3: Search for the Transaction

  1. Paste the copied Transaction ID into the search window.

  2. Run the search.

  3. When the report appears, click on the Transaction ID number to open the transaction detail page.


Step 4: Void the Transaction

  1. Click Void.

  2. The Transaction ID will auto-populate.

  3. Click Void again to confirm.


Step 5: Confirm the Result

After submitting the void request:

  • If successful, the page will display:
    “Transaction successfully canceled.”

  • If unsuccessful, you may see:

    • “Void has failed”

    • “Transaction is in an unknown status”

To void a transaction in ConnectBooster, start by locating the transaction in transaction history and copying the transaction ID.

Next, go to the BNG gateway and paste the transaction ID into the search window. When the report appears, click the transaction ID number to open the detail page. Click void. The transaction ID will auto populate. Click void again to confirm.

If the process is successful, the page will display transaction successfully canceled. If it fails, you will see void has failed or the transaction will show an unknown status.
