ConnectBooster: Adding Contacts and Default Contacts

How to Add a Contact in ConnectWise PSA and Sync It to ConnectBooster

Follow these steps to create a contact in ConnectWise PSA and have it sync into your ConnectBooster portal.


Create the Contact in ConnectWise PSA

  1. Log in to ConnectWise PSA.

  2. Create a new contact.

  3. Enter the contact’s first name and last name.

  4. Enter the contact’s email address.

  5. Ensure the contact is set to Active.

  6. Click Save.

Set the Contact as the Default Invoice Contact

  1. Navigate to the Company associated with the contact.

  2. Open the Company Finance tab.

  3. Scroll to the Invoice Delivery Options section.

  4. Add the contact’s email address to:

    • Bill To

    • CC

  5. Save the company record.

Sync the Contact to ConnectBooster

  1. Log in to the ConnectBooster portal.

  2. Navigate to the company record.

  3. Click Resync to trigger an immediate sync.

  4. Verify the contact appears in the contact list.

I wanted to take a minute here to take you through on how to add a contact through the ConnectWise PSA in order to sync that over into your Connect booster portal. So first off, you'd want to add in a first name and last name, as well as an email address. And then you're going to want to make sure to leave the contact as active. So I'm going to go ahead and save this right here.

And then I'm going to show you how to add a default contact from here. So we're going to go to the company, and then we're going to go to the company finance tab. So to sync in the contact, we're going to want to utilize this section down here with the invoice delivery options Because it's the bill to, as well as the c c field here in the invoice delivery options, is how we receive a default contact. So test three at test dot com.

Now that it's saved, we're going to head over to the ConnectBooster portal. And then, as you can see, we have seventeen contacts here. We're going to go ahead and resync this, so it shows up right away. And as you can see right here, the default contact did come in as test three at test dot com.
