Step 1: Locate the Transaction in ConnectBooster
Log in to ConnectBooster.
Go to Transaction History.
Find the transaction you would like to refund.
Copy the Transaction ID.
You will need this ID to process the refund in the gateway.
Step 2: Log in to the BNG Gateway
Open the BNG Gateway.
Navigate to the Transactions section (or use Transaction Reporting).
Step 3: Search for the Transaction
Paste the Transaction ID into the search field.
Click Submit.
When the report loads, click on the Transaction ID to open the transaction detail page.
Step 4: Initiate the Refund
Click Refund.
The Transaction ID will auto-populate.
Enter the refund amount.
(Optional) Check the box to send an email receipt to the customer.
Click Refund to process.
Step 5: Confirm the Refund
After submitting, the receipt screen will appear.
Review the confirmation details.
If you selected the email option, confirm the listed email address is correct.
The system will display confirmation that the refund was successfully processed.

To initiate a refund in ConnectBooster, begin by locating the transaction in transaction history and copying the transaction ID.
Next, navigate to the BNG Gateway. You can find the transaction by pasting the transaction ID into the search field or by using the transaction reporting feature. For this example, select transactions, paste the transaction ID into the search field, and click submit. When the report loads, click the transaction ID to open the detail page. Select refund.
The transaction ID will auto populate. Enter the refund amount, and if you'd like an email receipt sent, check the corresponding box. Then click Refund. The receipt screen will display a confirmation of the refund, along with the email address associated with the transaction. In this example, the receipt was sent to testgmail dot com, which you can see listed here.
