ConnectBooster: Manually setting default contacts

 

Part 1: Set a Contact as the Default

Step 1: Navigate to the Client’s Contact Page

  1. Log in to ConnectBooster.

  2. Open the client’s profile.

  3. Go to the Contact Page for that client.


Step 2: Expand the Contact List

  1. Locate the contact name field (shown in a text box).

  2. Click inside the text box to expand the full list of available contacts.


Step 3: Set the Default Contact

  1. Find the contact you want to set as default.

  2. Click the star icon next to that contact’s name.

The star selection designates the contact as the default.


Step 4: Confirm the Default Contact

  1. Refresh the client contact page.

  2. The selected contact will now appear as the Default Contact.


Part 2: Remove a Default Contact

If you need to remove the default designation:

Step 1: Locate the Default Contact

  1. On the client contact page, find the contact listed as default.

Step 2: Remove the Default

  1. Click the “X” icon next to the contact’s name.

The contact will no longer appear as the default contact.

In this video, we will show you how to set a contact as a default contact manually in ConnectBooster. First, navigate to your client's contact page. For this example, we have created a contact called test user. The contact's name will appear here in a text box. Click on this box to expand the listing. Next, look for the small star icon in the listing.

Clicking the star will set it as the default contact. When you refresh the client contact page, you will see that this is now set, and test user appears as a default contact. To remove this as a default contact, simply click on the X next to the name, and it will no longer appear here.
