Changes are required for all Traverse SaaS partners and must be done at every DGEx and DGE (if you have any).
These steps will enable you to update your configuration to harden and enhance the Traverse network, making configurations more reliable. This update enhances the overall performance and reliability of the Traverse software, ensuring smoother operations for all users.
Steps
- Change your local configuration files at DGEx. Update BVE_address to the IP address of your BVE. To retrieve the IP address, run the command
ping -t <your webapp URL>
or contact Traverse Support for assistance.

- Update the DGE and DGEx configuration at the user interface level. Update the DNS name to IP addresses on the DGE/DGEx management page (Upstream DGE Fully Qualified Host Name/IP Address).
- Restart DGE, DGEx.
