Changing the PUP settings via the registry key

Question: How do you change the PUP settings on Malwarebytes'

Answer: By default, the PUP setting is set to "Show in results list and do not check for removal". Since you are unable to change the PUP settings via the KAM profile, you will need to either manually change it from the MBAM UI or modify the registry key.

the regkey that will need to be modified is:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Highlight the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder and subsequently we will want to modify the "detect PUP" option in the window on the right-hand side.

A hexadecimal value of:

0 = Do not show in results list

1 = Show in results list and check for removal

2 = Show in results list and do not check for removal

As always, when making registry edits do backup the registry in case of an error/failure
