When trying to install Kaseya Antivirus (KAV) or Kaseya Antimalware (KAM) in an endpoint, the install fails with the following error(s):
FAILED to load KAV: Install KAV (ID = 339). Error: This agent procedure has not been approved yet.
FAILED to load KAM: Install (ID = 901). Error: This agent procedure has not been approved yet.
Cause: We've seen issues where KAV/KAM sign their procedures when they start, but Internet Information Services (IIS) or Kaseya Application Firewall (KAF) may not yet be running, so the KAV/KAM signatures don't get processed.
Workaround for On-Premise Customers
- Please update to the latest patch (> 220.127.116.11).
- Restart the KAV and KAM services on the Kaseya Server (do NOT reboot the server), simply restart the services while all the other services are running.
