How do I disable Kaseya Remote Control?

Answer

On the Endpoint:

  • An end user can choose to disable remote control to that particular workstation by right clicking the agent icon and choosing the option 'Disable Remote Control'.

In the VSA:

  • By Machine: 

Unfortunately this is currently not possible but a workaround could be that you can use "Remote Control>Machine Policy" and select " "Require Permission. Denied if no one logged in".

Option 1

This can be achieved by changing the User Role as outlined in this article: https://helpdesk.kaseya.com/entries/91291388-IN-PROGRESS-Disable-remote-control-for-Kaseya-VSA-User

Option 2

You can use "Remote Control>User Role Policy" and select " "Require Permission. Denied if no one logged in".
