Types of Remote Control in the Kaseya VSA
Within the Kaseya VSA there are a few different types of remote control available.
These are the New Kaseya Remote Control (RC), Kaseya Remote Control (KRC), K-VNC and RDP.
RC
Remote Control (RC) is the default remote control type in version 9.4 and later of the VSA.
RC is launched by clicking on the Agent Status Icon but it requires that the below option is set to Yes.
On the "System > Server Management > Default Settings" page, set the option "Replace KRC with RC in KLC to allow you to enforce all screen sessions getting recorded" to Yes.
RC's interface looks like this:
KRC
KRC is a legacy version of RC and has the same functionality with the exception of Screen Recording.
KRC is launched by clicking on the Agent Status Icon but it requires that the below option is set to No.
On the "System > Server Management > Default Settings" page, set the option "Replace KRC with RC in KLC to allow you to enforce all screen sessions getting recorded" to No.

K-VNC
K-VNC is a legacy version of Remote Control.
K-VNC is launched by clicking on the Machine ID link on the **"Remote Control > Control Machine"** page in the VSA and the interface looks like this:
