Introduction
This guide gives you a summary of billing integrations that are available with PSA.
Bill by Device
Billing by device (also known as billing by asset) allows you to charge your customers based on the number of assets being managed in your system. Costs will be prorated based on the asset count. MSP's with VSA RMM integration can use this feature to get a count of their agents, assets without agent synced from VSA. MSP's without the RMM integration can get a count of the assets created and saved on the Hardware assets page. For more information, see Bill by Device and video guide BMS Power User Series: Billing by Device.
Bill by User
The Bill By User feature enables billing managers to bill accounts for recurring services by the number of supported users. Managers can choose exactly which contacts are billable. The contacts billed are detailed in Billing Review and can appear on the invoice.
Proration is automatically applied for recurring services, whether you bill at the beginning or the end of the billing period. For more information, see Bill By User.
Bill by RMM Agent
Billing by RMM agent allows you to charge your customers based on the number of assets being managed in your RMM. Costs will be prorated based on the asset count. For more information, see Bill by RMM Agent.
