Do I need to inject storage drivers when performing bare metal recovery to a virtual machine?

SUMMARY

This article provides information about driver injection when performing Windows bare metal recovery to a virtual machine.

ISSUE

When performing Windows bare metal recovery (image-based or integrated) of a physical client to a virtual machine, you must inject either Hyper-V or VMware storage drivers depending on the location of the VM.
