KB#:  KKB000862

QUESTION:
Failed executing agent procedure MONSET$########$####### - How do I tell what this script is?

ANSWER:
There is an error in the log similar to the following:

machineName.Department.OrgName failed executing agentprocedure "MONSET$362253383894653$61771424" on 2011-11-01 11:05:09ZScript Summary: Failed THEN in step 9 Check the machine's Agent Procedure logfor additional details.

How do I tell what this script is doing? What do I need to do to correct this?

This is a system script that is run to re-apply monitor sets about once a day. There is usually nothing you need to do to correct the problem, because the script will automatically re-run the next time the agent comes on line.

However, if you want to know what monitor set is being deployed, you can do the following:

1) Go to the "Agent Procedure Log" and you'll find an entry similar to this:

2) The monitor set number in this case is 1227. To find outwhich monitor set this refers to, go to Monitor > Assign Monitoring andhover over the “edit” icon. The monitor set number will appear at the bottom ofthe window.

APPLIES TO: K2 - all versions
