Multiple Alarm conditions don’t translate into multiple script executions

Multiple Alarm conditions don’t translate into multiple script executions

Symptom

With Kaseya classic monitoring, when an alarm condition is met you can chose to create an Alarm, Ticket, E-mail or Run script.

If the alarm condition is met a number of times in a very short period of time you will receive multiple alerts (if “Create Alarm” is ticked). However if “Run Script” is ticked then the associated script will only be executed once.

Problem

When the first alarm condition is met Kaseya schedules the script to run, but if a second alarm condition is met before the first alarm’s script runs it will simple reschedule the first script (since it’s the same script) resulting in the agent procedure only running once on the machine instead of running multiple times.

Resolution

This is expected behaviour.
