Video Transcript:
To onboard a new SaaS protection client from the partner portal, we'll want to select the manage option underneath the data SaaS protection tile in the quick start menu. From there, it'll take us to the SaaS protection status UI where we'll select add organization. From here, this will allow us to select either an existing organization or create a new one. In this case, we're going to create a new one and just name it new client.

We'll select the data region. In this case, I'm selecting USA and which product to back up, which in this case is Microsoft three sixty five. From here, we'll select commitment terms. In this case, I'll be selecting k three sixty five user and a retention period of infinite.

However, this can vary depending on the requirements of the client and what you want to select. From here, we can either select partner or organization managed.

Partner managed allows the partner or MSP to manage the organization for the client. Additionally, users from the client can be added. Or organizational only, which only allows the client to access the account. Then select whether or not we have global administrator credentials for the m three sixty five tenant we're protecting.

In this case, we do have those credentials. License management, whether or not we want to auto add new users and auto add users once the account is onboarded, or allow us to select them manually once the account is set up. Additionally, you can enable a license cap, which limits the number of licenses that can be consumed when the account is onboarded. This can always be raised in the future and whether or not we wanna back up online.

From here, we then have the overview of all the options we selected, and we have reviewed those and select I agree, and then select add organization. This will now prompt us with an m three sixty five login, which gives permission to the back upify app in Entra. Here, we're presented with all the permissions that are required by the application.

Click on accept. Once completed, onboarding will be successful. Just like that, our client is now onboarded. We can search for the organization we created called new client, and we can then access their backups and manage from there.
