Saas Protection: Linking clients to organizations

In some cases, a SaaS protection client may not be linked to an organization in the partner portal. This can happen if a client becomes unlinked or is received through a transfer. Follow the steps below to relink the client to an organization.

Step 1: Navigate to Organization Management

  1. Log in to the partner portal.

  2. Click on Admin.

  3. Select Manage Organizations.

Step 2: Create a New Organization (If Needed)

If the client is not currently associated with any organization:

  1. Click Create Organization.

  2. Enter a name for the organization (for example, New Client).

  3. Save or create the organization.

  4. Use the search bar to locate the newly created organization.

Step 3: Edit the Organization

  1. Click the Edit button next to the organization.

  2. Scroll down to the SaaS Protection Services section.

Step 4: Link the SaaS Protection Service

  1. Click Link under SaaS Protection Services.

  2. Search for the existing SaaS protection client.

  3. Select the correct client from the search results.

  4. Click Link Services.

Step 5: Confirm the Link

  1. Once linked, the SaaS protection client will now be properly associated with the partner portal organization.

  2. You can now:

  • Add additional data services.

  • Add users who need access to the account.

  • Manage the client under the correct organization.

Video Transcript:

In the event that you have a SaaS protection client that is not linked to an organization in the portal, for example, let's say a client becomes unlinked from the organization or a client is received through a transfer, sometimes you will have to relink a client to an organization. To create a new organization, click on Admin and then Manage Organizations. From here, we'll select Create Organization.

For now, we'll just name this one New Client and search for them. By clicking the Edit button, we can go through and link a SaaS protection service. Go down to SaaS protection services and select Link. We're going to search to an existing client, Link Services. And this is now linked properly to a partner portal organization where we can add other data services and add additional users to be able to access the account.
