What are the supported Operating Systems for the AUSI Agent?
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows Server 2022
Note: Effective March 1st. 2023 Passly only supports this agent when installed on a Domain Controller. Installation to a Domain Joined Server is no longer supported.
What permissions are placed on a synchronized user in Passly?
After Agent installation User is created with "AusiSyncUser" name and with generated password (from 12 to 20 symbols).
1. In case of automatic User creation
Permissions for "AusiSyncUser" are:
- Read Domain;
- Replicate;
- Replicate ALL.
Windows Services works within Local System Account. Changes detection works in the same way as from Local System. User is used for pulling HASHes from Active Directory.
2. In case of manual User creation
Permissions will be the same as for AusiSyncUser, but this action can't be undone.
3. When you delete AUSI Agent and you have Service Account: Service Account will be deleted while uninstallation.
Do the Default OU's always sync?
By default we ignore following containers:
- "System\DomainUpdates\Operations".
If you need to use one of the above containers it will need to be renamed in order to sync.
