Azure Virtual Machine Agent Deployment Permissions

If missed, please refer to the Azure Credential Generation and Configuration guide here.

Installing the VSA agent on an Azure Virtual Machine requires the following:

1. The virtual machine is running an agent-compatible OS, details here.

2. The following permissions are enabled:

MicrosoftCompute/virtualMachines/extensions Read permission

MicrosoftCompute/virtualMachines/extensions Write permission

MicrosoftCompute/virtualMachines/extensions Delete permission

NOTE: The above permissions are inherited by default if utilizing the 'Owner' role during configuration.
