SUMMARY

There is an amber light on the front of an appliance under the hard drive icon.

ISSUE

An amber light on the front of the appliance is illuminated or actively flashing.

CAUSE

When this light is under the hard drive icon:




this indicates IDE channel activity in the SAS/SATA drive, SCSI drive, and/or DVD-ROM drive when flashing.
