VMWare Virtual Machine Reboots / Crashes During a VM Backup

How to fix a vmware virtual machine when it reboots or crashes during a vm backup.

A customer could see their VMWare virtual machine being rebooted or crashing while taking a backup, specifically when taking a full backup.

Compare the size of a full backup to the amount of space available in the VMWare datashare of the virtual machine.  If there is little or no room left on the datastore when the snapshot is being taken, it can cause the server to crash or reboot.  The datastore should be increased in order to resolve this issue.
