This release includes updated Windows core and bare metal agents. The 10.5.6 core agent is recommended for all Windows assets and is required for Windows fixes in this release.

Active Directory
Resolved an issue that prevented active directory users from logging in to the appliance after upgrading to release 10.5.5.
Appliance restart
Resolved a timeout issue that could prevent certain appliances from restarting.
Encryption
Resolved an issue with encryption passphrases containing more than 127 characters. The issue could cause these errors, even though the passphrase had already been entered and saved: Passphrase must be specified or Error: request body only required, allowed for passphrase.
Hot backup copy
Resolved a certificate issue that could cause hot backup copy jobs to fail.
Resolved an issue with certain CentOS 6 appliances where hot backup copy jobs were not added to the queue upon upgrading the appliance.
Inventory sync
Resolved an issue that could cause the Inventory Sync process to hang. This could occur when selecting the Gear symbol on top right > Inventory Sync or when adding/modifying virtual host assets.
Recovery
Import cold backup copy from tape – Resolved an issue where the import could fail if the job spanned more than two tapes.
Security vulnerabilities
Addressed Windows agent and appliance security vulnerabilities.
