Resource Pools and vApps not displaying correctly in Unitrends interface

SUMMARY

Resource Pools and vApps not displaying correctly in Unitrends interface

ISSUE

Purpose

Resolve differences between VM hierarchy seen in an ESX environment and what’s seen in the Unitrends interface.

Description

If you change the VM hierarchy in your ESX environment, that is, you create one or more resource pools or vApps and group your virtual machines under those nodes, the change will not immediately be reflected in the Unitrends interface.

Cause

The Unitrends interface will need to be refreshed before any changes in the ESX environment can be displayed.

Resolution

When looking at the list of your virtual machines in the Unitrends interface, click the red and black circular refresh icon at the bottom of the list. Then click the same icon at the bottom of the Navigation pane on the left side of the screen.

If your new resource pool or vApp configuration is still not displayed, clear your browse cache and restart your browser.
