DESCRIPTION

 

SWEET32 attacks against 3DES Ciphers (openvpn)

A flaw was found in the way the DES/3DES cipher was used as part of the TLS/SSL protocol. This is a duplicate of CVE-2016-2183 to track SWEET32 in the upstream OpenVPN project. 
 

RESOLUTION

Unitrends Risk Assessment: None with latest security update

Red Hat’s implementation of OpenVPN is not affected by this flaw.
