Fixes

The table below lists bugs that were resolved in this release. Unless stated otherwise, you can resolve each bug by simply upgrading your appliance.

Component Bug
Backup
  • Windows image-level backup – Resolved an issue that caused backups to fail with this error: More blocks in the bitmap than the backup. This fix requires upgrading to the Windows 10.3.5 agent.
  • Windows image-level backup – Resolved an issue that caused backup of Extended Boot Record (EBR) partitions to fail. This fix requires upgrading to the Windows 10.3.5 agent
Copy Backup Copy
  • Import older cold copy - Resolved an issue where importing cold copies could fail due to compression properties not being set correctly in the older copy format.
Hot Backup Copy
  • Synthetic file-level backups – Resolved an issue where hot copy of synthetic file-level backups could fail if the backup contained file or directory names with trailing spaces. This fix requires upgrading to the Windows 10.3.5 agent.
Recovery
  • File-level backups – Resolved an issue with file recovery that prevented the display of some files contained in the backup.
  • Windows image-level backups – Resolved an issue where the CIFS file recovery option was not available for backups of master boot record (MBR) disks. With this fix, you can now mount a CIFS share to browse and recover files from these backups.
  • Hyper-V backups – Resolved an issue with recovering files from backups of VMs with differencing disks. Due to improper handling of these disks, the recovery object was not created correctly and files in the backup could not be accessed.
Synthesis
  • Synthesis of file-level backups - Resolved an issue where synthesis of file-level backups could fail if a backup contained file or directory names with trailing spaces.
Windows Replicas
  • Live mode – Resolved an issue where the replica failed to enter live mode and would boot into Repair mode instead.
  • Audit mode – Resolved an issue where booting into audit mode could fail with this error: Info: The application or operating system couldn't be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors.
