Hyper-V backups may fail with volsnap errors.

ISSUE

Hyper-V backups may fail with volsnap errors. 

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, upgrade your appliance to version 10.3 or later. 

CAUSE

Two issues may contribute to the above symptoms:

1. The Hyper-V Virtual Disk can grow larger than the expected maximum size.
2. Failure to ignore incremental data preceding VHD or VHDX files for a particular vdisk in the backup group.
