Where can I find details on files contained in a specific file-level backup?

Resolution

There are two ways to view the details of the files/folders that were backed up:

First Method

1. Navigate to the Web Administrator Interface via web browser
2. Go to Reports
3. Go to Backups
4. Select the desired backup
5. In the dialog box that pops up, click the Details button

Second Method

Windows

1. On the client machine, go to the Unitrends Agent installation directory (typically “C:\PCBP”)
2. Navigate inside the Catalog.dir directory
3. Select the catalog file that correlates to the type of backup and date for the backup in question
4. Open the file as a text file in programs such as Notepad
    

Linux/Unix

1. On the client machine, go to the Unitrends Agent installation directory (typically “/usr/bp/”)
2. Navigate inside the catalog.dir directory
3. Select the catalog file that correlates to the type of backup and date for the backup in question
4. Open the file in a text editor such as nano or vi
    

Remote Mount

1. On the Unitrends backup system, navigate to “/usr/bp”
2. Navigate inside the catalog.dir directory
3. Select the catalog file that correlates to the type of backup and date for the backup in question
4. Open the file in a text editor such as nano or vi
