Backups may fail because of clustered Hyper-V VM scheduling that should not be allowed by the UI.

ISSUE

The UI may permit users to schedule and backup VMs directly from a Hyper-V cluster node rather than requiring registration of the cluster resource. This can lead to backup failure if VMs failover to another node in the cluster.  

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, upgrade your appliance to version 10.0.
