Security Improvements
We have made some changes to increase product security. These changes included updated software packages as well proactive changes to legacy infrastructure.
New Features
Directory manager – Users / Sessions. We have introduced a new Session Log-out feature.
This Feature allows a Passly Administrator to log a single user or all organization users out of Passly endpoints.
Single User Sessions Sign out
To log out a session for individual users.
- Navigate to Directory Manager > Users.
- Select the user by clicking on their username.
- Select Session Sign Out.
Note: This feature will log the user out of all Passly authenticated endpoints. Users will need to complete authentication for any endpoint they access. This will untrust the user until they complete authentication again.
Note: Only Organization Administrator Role members can complete this action.
Organization Users sign out.
Session logout for an organization.
- Navigate to Directory Manager > Organizations.
- Select the Organization by selecting the name.
- Select Sign out to sign out all users.
Note: This feature will log all users out of all Passly authenticated endpoints. Users will need to complete authentication for any endpoint they access. This will untrust the user until they complete authentication again.
Note: Only Organization Administrator Role members can complete this action.
Tenant Session Sign out - All Users All Organizations
The System tenants manage all Passly tenants. The Passly team now has the ability to log all users out of all organizations on all endpoints at once via the System tenants.
Note: This feature will log all users out of all Passly authenticated endpoints. This will affect all users and all organization Users will need to complete authentication for any endpoint they access. This will untrust the user until they complete authentication again.
If you are facing an unexpected security concern, please contact support if you need assistance with signing out all users on your Passly tenant at once.

Defect fixes
System Tenant Management – With this release we will be starting to auto-delete all unused Passly tenants.
Disabled Tenants
When a Passly subscription expires the tenant is immediately disabled. These tenants can be renewed and accessed by the (AOR)Account of Record / Primary Administrator for 30 days.
Archived Tenants
After 30 days all disabled tenants are archived. An archived tenant cannot be renewed for subscription. No users will be able to access the tenant including the AOR Administrator.
We will delete any archived tenant after 90 days. This is 100% data lose, all users etc. will be removed from the system tenant. No recovery is possible for deleted tenants. These tenants cannot be renewed or accessed by anyone again.
