This release includes adjustment, new designs and defect fixes.
Adjustments
Policy Manager – Authentication Policy – We have added a new function to the policies. Previously you could assign a policy to targeted group.
With this release we have enabled a new function. Admins can now select User “is not a member of group“ can be selected when configuring an authentication policy to exclude a group of users.
Password Manager – Previously the password record would be blocked as a duplicate if it contained the same username & URL combination as another password record.
We have changed the behavior of the agent to make it more useful to all users. When prompting to save password records Passly will now allow duplicate usernames used in conjunction with a given URL.
Password Manager – We have improved the search functions within My Passwords. This tab will now allow Users to search passwords using data from the following fields:
- Display Name.
- Description.
- Notes.
- Username.
- Machinename.
- Domain.
- Foldername.
- Vault name.
SSO Manager – Microsoft 365 – Graph API Federation – We have updated the Issuer status message for Graph API Federated SAML Apps. The new status is as follows.
IF the issuer is valid, you will see the following displayed “This is a valid Issuer. A Valid Issuer was synchronized from Passly & Microsoft 365”
IF the issuer is invalid you will see the following displayed “This is an invalid valid Issuer. The Issuer is different in Passly & Microsoft 365.”
Designs
Password Manager – Organization Selector – We have reworked this function to make it more clear for Users in the UI (User Interfaces).
Navigating to Password Manager > Vault Manager will now display the Organization selection dropdown in the top left corner. Selecting the Organization will display all the Vaults associated with that Org.
Defect fixes
Directory Manager – Users - An issue occurred that was preventing the deletion of Passly users if they were also a KaseyaOne user. This issue is now resolved, and users should be able to be deleted regardless of where the user exists.
Directory manager – Just in Time 2FA – An issue occurred on a Passly tenant where users could not make JIT (Just in Time) reservations. This issue was identified on the backend and resolved. All JIT reservations should work as expected now.
Directory manager – Organizations – An issue occurred where attempting to delete an organization in Passly was being blocked if that organization also exists in KaseyaOne. This is now resolved, and Passly Organizations can be deleted regardless of existing in KaseyaOne.
Directory Manager – Users – An issue occurred where resetting a user's password was generating a reset email that was not useful. This issue is now resolved, and all users should be able to use their password reset emails as needed.
Policy Manager – Authentication Policy – An issue occurred where when configuring a policy, the Organization name was not updated when 'User is a member of a group' condition was in use. This issue is resolved, and the correct Organization should now display when using the dropdown menus.
Policy Manager – Authentication Policy – An issue occurred where editing an Auth policy would cause the save button to be disabled. This issue is now resolved. If the policy is valid, it should be able to be saved.
SSO Manager – Microsoft 365 – Graph API Federation – An issue occurred where the Graph API verification is retrieved even when "Use graph for synchronization" is unchecked.
This is now resolved and should only trigger when Graph API verification is retrieved when "Use graph for synchronization" is checked.
