How do I add a Windows client after manually installing the agent?

SUMMARY

This article explains how to add a Windows client after you have manually installed the agent.

ISSUE

In the UI, access the Configure page and Protected Assets tab.  Click the add button and select asset.  

Ensure that the Install Agent box is UNCHECKED  before you add the client.  Specify a valid DNS hostname for the asset, or, add a friendly name and the assets correct IP.  

Appliance and Asset are required to be in the same VLAN (no routes through firewall or gateway) as of release 10.6.6.
