This issue occurs because Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 operating system (OS) are not supported in ESXi 4.x.

Resolution

There is no resolution for this issue because Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 are not supported in ESXi 4.x versions. Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 are supported with ESXi 5.0 Update 1 and ESXi 5.0 Update 2.
