RESOLUTION

If you see the above error, you will need to verify that all the drives for the appliance are showing up. You have 2 options to do this:

1) From a terminal session, alt + F2 (when booted into the reimage media) to switch to login prompt (default credentials are root\unitrends1). Then you can run fdisk -l & this will list off all the drives. Verify that we see all intended drives, including the SSD on S series appliances. If a drive is missing, you will need to investigate the cause of this.

2) Reboot the appliance, go into BIOS (on post screen, strike del key. Default pass is backup.) Under the Sata configuration, Verify that we see all intended drives, including the SSD on S series appliances. If a drive is missing, you will need to investigate the cause of this.

Commonly we see the SSD missing due to the power or SATA cables becoming disconnected. Note that it could also be another drive missing. If you require assistance determining the missing drive, please contact support at 1-888-374-6124 (US\Canada) or 1.855.593.2861 (internationally).

**This error may also be seen with a corrupt image download or corrupt burn to the USB device being used**

CAUSE

Reimage process will not work correctly if all drives are not showing up as intended.
