Generation 9 or Gen 10 physical appliance will not power on

Issue:

 

Brand-new generation 9 appliance will not power on, doesn't boot up

 

Resolution:

 

The power switch is on the right-hand side of the appliance. The button is illuminated green when the appliance is turned on, but it's completely black when powered off. The blue button on the far left of the appliance will not power it on.
