- Is the site the device in mapped successfully? Device sync relies on site mapping
- Does the device card show "open in PSA"? If Clicked where does it go?
- Is the device one of the device types that are configured to sync in the integration setup?
- Search the device ID in Kibana – any sync errors?
- If in Kibana you see a "skipping sync – info hasn't changed", try hitting "force sync" next to the PSA ID on the summary card, or "sync devices now" in old UI and checking again
- If still no sync attempt, make a small change to the device description (like adding a period or underscore at the end) and try hitting "sync devices now"/"force sync" again
- If Kibana shows a sync error, does it reference any invalid IDs or elements in PSA? - Check those elements in their PSA account via PSA provisioning. A lot of device sync failures are a result of attempting to create the device in PSA and set fields to a certain value and that value was deleted or is inactive (configuration item type, product type, in some cases contact, etc.)
- If device is synced to the wrong Configuration Item / Asset in PSA, you can use the new manually map options next to the PSA ID field on the summary card to sync to a different device
