Self-Guided Onboarding is a step-by-step, in-product experience tailored to your role – designed to help you get started quickly and confidently. It’s available 24/7, so you can go through the setup at your own pace and convenience. With clear instructions, tips and best practices, and direct links to videos and knowledge base articles, you'll have everything you need to complete your tasks successfully.
Whether you're an Administrator setting up your system or a Technician getting familiar with key tasks, the self-guided experience provides the guidance and tools you need to be productive faster.

Completing the self-guided onboarding will help you:

You’ll maximize your time with the expert during your consulting sessions by completing the onboarding tasks beforehand. This preparation will provide you with a solid understanding of the software's functionalities and capabilities, enabling more productive and focused discussions.
How to access the self-guided onboarding
Accessing the self-guided onboarding is simple:
- Log in to your product dashboard.
- Click the (?) Help icon or the graduation cap in the top navigation bar.
- Select Onboarding Tasks.
It’s available to you 24/7 with no expiration, so you can complete it at your own pace.
Onboarding for your role
For Administrators
Administrators will go through the full onboarding journey, including Product Overview and Recommended Configurations, to ensure you have the foundational setup needed to get the most out of Kaseya’s features.
For Technicians
Technicians will focus on technician-specific tasks, allowing you to quickly get familiar with the essential tools and workflows for your role.

Stay on track with reminders and feedback
We know life gets busy, so we'll send you gentle reminders if you have incomplete tasks 1, 3, 7, 15 and 30 days after you start your onboarding.
We also value your feedback!
- A CSAT Survey will be sent after you’ve completed 60% of the onboarding process.
- An Exit Survey will be sent after 30 days if you haven’t completed onboarding. We want to provide a better experience by hearing your feedback.
