This document describes new features introduced in release 1.25.
Endpoint Backup agent
This release includes agent version 1.25. Unitrends recommends upgrading to the latest agent version to benefit from fixes and performance enhancements.
Expanded Windows support for Server 2022 and Windows 11
Release 1.25 extends Windows support to include protection of Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11. To protect these environments, the Windows asset must be running agent release 1.25 or higher.
Bare Metal Recovery Enhancements
Our Bare Metal Recovery feature has had some additional quality of life improvements, including, but not limited to:
- Simplified restores of single drive systems –Map drives in one click with the new Auto Fill button:
- Improved network connection testing in the BMR UI
- Improved error handling and feedback to troubleshoot recoveries:
