How do you create a Web-based Password in Passly?

Passly has the ability to store web based credentials using our Password Server. 

In order to be a launchable item in the Passly SSO Sign On Assistant extension we need to follow these steps.

Individual Vaults

  1. Log into Passly https://(companyname).my.passly.com
  2. Select your Individual Vault. 
  3. Select +New Password

  4. Enter the Display Name.
  5. Enter the Description (if needed).
  6. Enter the Notes (if needed).
  7. Change the Password Type to Web.

  8. Enter the Username.

  9. Enter the Password.

  10. Enter the URL for the website login page.

  11. Set the desired Vault Policy.
  12. Set the desired expiration.
  13. select Add Password.

Shared Vaults

  1. Log into Passly https://(companyname).my.passly.com
  2. Select Vault Manger.

  3. select the specific shared Vault you want to use.
  4. Select +New Password

  5. Enter the Display Name.
  6. Enter the Description (if needed).
  7. Enter the Notes (if needed).
  8. Change the Password Type to Web.

  10. Enter the Password.

  11. Enter the URL for the website login page.
    mceclip4.png
  12. Set the desired Vault Policy.
  13. Set the desired expiration.
  14. select Add Password.

These web based password records can now be accessed from the "My Passwords" tab or the Single Sign On Assistant extension in Chrome/Edge/Firefox or Passly Mobile.
