What's new in release 1.8
Release 1.8 includes the new features and enhancements described below.
- Unitrends Cloud Backup agent – This release includes agent version 1.8.
- Backup > Jobs – You can now run on-demand full backups of all assets in a job by clicking the asset's Run All button. Jobs are queued as soon as the asset checks in and run if no other job is currently running for the asset.
The Run All button shows the number of pending fulls that have already been queued for the job. In the example image below, the job contains 8 assets and 1 full has already been queued:

Upon clicking Queue Full Backups, the job's Run All button changes to green and the number of pending jobs is
updated, indicating that new Run All jobs are pending. Each jobs is queued as soon as the asset checks in and runs
if no other job is currently running for the asset.

The button returns to blue once any pending Run All job starts. Note that you cannot initiate Run All for the job if the
button is gray (all assets are disabled) or green (all Run All jobs are pending).

Fixes
The table below lists fixes included in the 1.8 release.
COMPONENT | FIX |
---|---|
Backup > Jobs | Resolved an issue where an in-progress job could become 'stuck' indefinitely. This fix was provided in release 1.8.1 (9/4/2020). |
Backup > Profile |
When adding a profile, the Name field now enforces a limit of 256 characters. |
Restore > Recover Files |
Addressed an issue where recovery could fail when attempting to recover more than 700 files via the API. With this fix, a message displays indicating that fewer files must be included in the job. |
