SUMMARY
This article explains that attached virtual disks are the supported storage type for Unitrends Free.
ISSUE
Unitrends Free supports attached virtual disk storage. New and existing disks can be added to the appliance VM and configured as backup storage. Note that if you choose to use an existing virtual disk, any existing data on the disk will be deleted.
