Novell - OES alternate restore failures

ISSUE

When attempting to restore Novell / OES restores to alternate server or location, they may fail:
 

NWSMTSOpenDataSetForRestore  FAILS CCODE = fffdffdc
TSAFS returns fffdffe5

RESOLUTION

This is usually attributed to a Novell volume name space issue and how the agent interprets these.  To complete the restore:

1. Go to the backup appliance and locate the file that you want to restore.

2. Choose a server/client target.  Type in the path you wish to use manually.  Enter in path \\VOL2\dir .

The @ symbols added in do not always translate properly, depending on the volume name space.
