Release Notes for Recovery Series and Unitrends Backup 10.3.1

DESCRIPTION

This document describes enhancements introduced in the 10.3.1 release. For upgrade instructions and considerations, reference the Upgrade Guide for Recovery Series and Unitrends Backup for release 10.3.


Unitrends 10.3.1 builds on the success of Unitrends 10.3 with the following enhancements:

 

Customer-Found Defects

The table below lists customer-discovered issues that were promptly resolved in this release. For details on each defect,
see the Customer-Found Defects KB article.
 
Component Defect
Backup Copy (Hot)
Resolved an issue where hot backup copy jobs on version 10.3 appliances could take too long to complete.
Replicas
Resolved an issue where windows replicas of GPT-partitioned assets could fail to complete restore jobs.
Storage
Resolved an issue where file descriptor leaks could eventually lead to space issues on the appliance.
Upgrade
Resolved an issue where appliances with Unitrends cloud backup copy targets could fail to update.
Windows Agent
  • Resolved an issue where Hyper-V hosts could blue screen if the CBT driver is uninstalled.
  • Resolved an issue where a failure to back up hard links could cause certain Windows applications to fail following bare metal recovery or Windows replica restore.
