Virtual Appliance - Post Installation

You can run the Appliance Diagnostic Tool after the installation of the virtual appliance to ensure the following.

1. The network configuration is correct on the appliance VMs

2. The inspector has internet connectivity - All communication on the Network Detective Appliances is outbound only. In order for the appliance to communicate with the Rapidfire Tools servers to obtain tasks scheduled from your Network Detective application it must be able to access the internet.

3. The inspector services are operational.

4. Appliance communication has been verified. (requires the services operational)

5. Connection to the Network Detective Servers have been verified. (requires services operational)
