Traverse 9.5.44 - 2 August 2021

This Traverse 9.5.44 release includes new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. See the topics below for details.

IMPORTANT! At the beginning of this year, Traverse will no longer support the 9.4 version as we will release a new 9.6 version. Be sure to update your instances to Traverse 9.5 version.

Enhancements

Generic Issue

For security reasons, we restricted the communication between BVE and DGE to HTTPS only.

Beta SNMP Monitor

Due to performance concerns, we've temporarily disabled our Beta SNMP Monitor.

BMS Integration

Our integration with BMS has been enhanced! As promised, we've made the integration configuration easier than ever. You are now able to provide Traverse Department to BMS Account mappings. These mappings will be respected when syncing Traverse information into your BMS instance, so you can have peace of mind knowing your critical data will end up in the right place.

New Features

BMS Integration: Two-way Ticket Synchronization

We are also excited to share that completing a ticket within BMS will apply the 'Suppressed' flag to the associated Traverse event. Don't worry, we aren't done yet! Keep an eye on upcoming releases as our next iteration will enable to you create BMS assets on behalf of your Traverse devices.

Bug Fixes

UI Workflow/Usability

  • Fixed an issue with sorting Ascending/Descending order in the Duration field on the Status > Container page.

Generic Issue

  • Updated the migration script to include DB updates for BMS integration.
  • Updated handling of SNMP v3 dynamic OIDs.
