Recently we have received several emails from clients who are wanting to get more out of their AuthAnvil logs. This stems from conversations in the community about accountability and auditing, and I was surprised to hear so many people don't realize how easy it truly can be.
To address this, I have put together a quick screencast to show just how to do this. In it, you will learn how to leverage the "better together" aspects of Microsoft SQL Server and Office to provide an easy way to review AuthAnvil's audit logs through tools like Access and Excel. You will also see how to provide a restricted read only view to the AuthAnvil logs, granting least privilege access to security auditors as required using Microsoft's built-in SQL Server security permissions.
