When attempting to activate a RWWGuard subscription, you may receive the following error:
"An exception occurred while trying to validate the license key with the activation server. The underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to remote server."
This failure occurs when SSL is not being allowed through the firewall protecting the Small Business Server, usually due to a proxy setting in the firewall (ie: ISA). The activation web service RWWGuard uses must have a direct connection, and will not work through a standard proxy.
Configure your firewall to allow direct access by SSL (TCP port 443) to secure.scorpionsoft.com and secure.authanvil.com.
