Issue
After configuring AuthAnvil Single Sign On to log in to the AuthAnvil Manager, clicking the icon goes to the login screen without logging in.
Cause
There are a couple of steps during the configuration that may cause the SSO -> 2FA process to fail. Most commonly this is related to login permissions into the AuthAnvil Manager, or the proper SSO certificate has not been imported.
Resolution
First, make sure you can log directly into the AuthAnvil Manager with the same username as SSO. Your user may not be marked as a Site Administrator so you are not permitted to log in to the Manager website.
Next, review the configuration in http://www.scorpionsoft.com/docs/sso/2fa to make sure no steps were missed. The configuration is slightly different depending on your version of AuthAnvil Single Sign On, so make sure you have the latest version outlined in the guide.
At the time of writing this article, the latest version of SSO is v3.6.2.1. This version requires the certificate to be downloaded from inside the "Two Factor Auth" application in SSO, and imported into the Settings page of the AuthAnvil Manager under "Single Sign On Settings".
Affects
All versions of Single Sign on
