Issue

AuthAnvil login prompt appears during console login, does not appear when logging in via terminal services.

 

Cause

Terminal Services is set to override any custom settings and use the standard Windows authentication dialog.

 

Resolution

To disable the "Use standard Windows authentication setting", follow these steps:
1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Terminal Services Configuration. 2. Click Connections, right-click the connection that you want to modify, such as RDP-Tcp, and then click Properties. 3. On the General tab, click to deselect the "Use standard Windows authentication" check box, and then click OK.
