New Features
Authentication: Kaseya One and IT Complete Single Sign-On Integration
NOTE: This release adds the foundation for future IT Complete SSO login with VSA and the upcoming Kaseya One product. This release does not change current VSA authentication methods - existing methods will continue to work post 9.5.3. We will be starting our roll-out of Kaseya One in the coming months.
In this release, we added Single Sign-On support to the VSA via Kaseya One and the IT Complete product suite.
Upon using the VSA for the first time after installing or patching the system, the VSA will be enabled for use with IT Complete.
For VSA On-Premise servers, VSA will need to be registered with IT Complete. For SaaS servers, the server registration process will be performed by Kaseya.

- Log into the VSA as a Master Admin;
-
Click the Authenticate with IT Complete button. The new window with Kaseya One login page will open;
- Login to your Kaseya One account. Once you authenticate with Kaseya One, you can continue with the VSA registration process;
- Click the Register VSA with IT Complete button;
- Log out of your VSA account – VSA user accounts can now be associated with Kaseya One accounts.

Now your VSA account and IT Complete are disassociated.
Classic Monitoring: Zero-configuration Standard SNMP Monitoring for Network devices and printers
As a VSA user, you can now quickly deploy simple SNMP monitoring to standard network infrastructure and printers by right-clicking the Enable Monitoring button on an eligible SNMP node on the Discovery > Networks > Topology map tab. Eligible nodes are SNMP nodes that are printers, routers, switches that have been promoted to assets and do not currently have standard monitoring enabled. If a device is NOT an asset, when the Enable Monitoring option is selected, it will be automatically promoted to an asset. See topic Standard SNMP Monitoring.
To deploy simple SNMP monitoring for the new or existing Network:
-
- Navigate to Discovery > Networks > By Network > New or Edit > SNMP tab;
- Check the Enable SNMP checkbox;
- Check the Enable Standard Monitoring checkbox;
-
Check ATSE action:
- Create Alarm - If checked, creates an alarm.
- Create Ticket - If checked, creates a ticket.
-
Email Recipients - If checked, notifies email recipients specified in Email Addresses.
- Click Save.
- If you are creating a new network, click Save & Scan. Once the scan is finished it will automatically enable all SNMP-enabled devices for the selected Network.
Note: For the existing network, changes will take place at the time of the next scan and only will be applied to newly discovered devices.
To deploy simple SNMP monitoring for an individual device within the discovered Network with SNMP devices:
-
- Navigate to Discovery > Networks > Topology Map;
- Right-click on SNMP node, select Enable Monitoring/Edit Monitoring;

Kaseya Live Connect: Paste Clipboard functionality
In this release, we added a new Paste Clipboard button to the Remote Control window toolbar. This functionality allows the technician to paste clipboard text into password prompts using the Paste Clipboard toolbar button or Ctrl-Alt-V keyboard shortcut. The Paste Clipboard icon will be disabled if the clipboard contains no data, non-text data, or exceeds the password limit of 255 characters. For more information on Kaseya Remote Control functionality, see topic.
Remote Control
We added a new Remote Control feature the allows the administrator to observe the end-users mouse movements. Now the administrator mouse cursor has priority over the end-users mouse when both are using the mouse simultaneously. Please note that as of this release this feature only works for Windows operating systems. The macOS support will be available in a future release. This feature will not be supported in screen recording. For more information on Kaseya Remote Control functionality, see topic.
VSA User Interface: "What's New" and "Automation Exchange" options
To enhance user experience, we added two new "What's New" and "Automation Exchange" buttons to the VSA Global Menu panel for accessing the external websites direct from VSA. The "What's New" button is designed to provide easy access to the latest VSA Release Notes, the "Automation Exchange" button is designed to provide access to Kaseya's Automation Exchange marketplace. The new buttons are configurable through User Roles. These buttons are enabled by default. For more information, see Page Layout topic.
To enable/disable "What's New" and "Automation Exchange" buttons for users:
-
- Login to your VSA agent with Master role;
- Navigate System > User Security > User Role;
- Select the user role, then select the Access Right tab;
